Hatha Yoga brings balance, strength, and a sense of well-being to the practitioner. Traditional hatha yoga is a holistic yogic path including: postures (asana), breathing (pranayama), and meditation.
While using both the poses and the pace of regular Hatha classes, these classes sequence those poses differently and aim to keep the body moving with breath.
Trisha Sevilla, Instructor
Trisha entered her first yoga class in 2008, apprehensive but curious. As her relationship with her practice evolved, yoga came to mean many things to her. Most of all it began to mean relief – relief from stiffness in the body and heaviness in the mind.
Trisha’s goal is for her students to experience the benefits of yoga far past their mats and perhaps find ways to move through life with more mindfulness, steadiness, and peace. She loves to facilitate an inquisitive practice that begins with students finding connection to themselves and ends with them feeling calm, grounded, and powerful.
Trisha completed her Yoga Teacher Training at The Yoga Sanctuary and is happy to create spaces for people to explore all that yoga has to offer.
